Saturday, February 25

New Tecumseth has a new sports league, The Arena Flag Football League (AFFL) for men ages 20+. The AFFL is a non-contact sport geared towards sportsmanship and bringing the community together for family-friendly FUN. This is a great opportunity for men to enjoy a game of football and keep in shape while avoiding the injuries involved with a contact sport, socializing with and getting to know others within the community. Families are encouraged to come out and cheer on their men.

There will be an information session on Saturday, February 25th at 7:00 pm at the New Tecumseth Public Library, Tottenham Branch in the upstairs meeting room. Please come out and find out how you can be a part of this sport – as a player or a volunteer timekeeper, scorekeeper, referee or trainer. By attending the meeting you will help us plan our new league and get to have your say in it. All games will be played on Saturday evenings so that shift-work does not cause you to miss out on the FUN! If you can’t make the information session, you can find out more by emailing us or by calling (905) 936-3864 to request specific information.
